We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Thank you meekhcs, this is definitely correct, as Leicester Street is still here.

Re: 1921 census

Another error has cropped up with this census and a visitor to the household has an incorrect second Christian name. He is listed as William Toskley Howkins and the name should be Stockley. He was an engineer, but no employer, so no idea why he was there. I am really interested to hear if anyone has...

1921 census

I have a copy of an entry which states that it was recorded in Lincoln Street, Bulkington, Warwickshire. To my knowledge there has never been a street of that name in this village and it should read Church Street and I am assuming it is an enumerator's error. Has anyone else found anomalies in the 1...

Re: House name

Thank you for responding. I can't upload it at the moment I am sorry. I did put the name into Google in case it was a place, but it obviously is a property as my aunt is in the garden and it shows a house over a hedge. I can't give any more clues and just hoped that the name would ring a bell with s...

Re: Help with a brick wall

As you have not had any response to your message I thought I would give you my suggestions, although you may have done them.

Have you looked for a marriage for Jane, the birth of her son, or her death? There would be clues I am sure that you could follow up. Let us know how you get on please.

House name

I have a photo of an aunt taken August 1927 at a place/house called Eroberhill, at least that is what the spelling looks like. Is there anyone out there who can identify this please?

Re: John Augustus Crisp

Thank you for that Mick, but not belonging to me.

I have a Lark Moody marrying a John Crow on my tree, you couldn't make it up, could you?
