We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Re: Rootstech21

It was nice to see you there Guy, plus a few others that I recognised from the genealogy world. It was great to have these zoom chats and the opportunity to see each other, albeit on a screen!

WW1 Medals Framed

I have finally had my Great-Grandfathers Medals Framed, the finished frame looks amazing and it was well worth taking the time to do it properly, the end results looks wonderful. In memory of John Edwin Barnes, Essex Regiment, who died at Gallipoli, 25th April 1915. https://chiddicksfamilytree.com/2...

It’s always worth checking the beginning and end of Parish Registers, you find all sorts of gems hidden in there.

Re: And this is me......My Life Story

Enjoyed Part 1, Paul. Think its important that we keep the story up to date by telling people about the present as well as the dim and distant past. Have just taken the plunge and started a blog at https://armstrongfamilyhistoryjourney.blogspot.com Thanks Ewan, You never know you might find that el...

And this is me......My Life Story

We spend so much time documenting our Ancestors and going back in time, that recently I decided to document my own life story, apologies it will be boring for some, but its more about documenting things about ourselves before its too late! I asked my children where did I work when I first left schoo...
