We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Re: Sarah Parmiter died Rome 1906
Adrian Thank you very much for looking. Even though I have the various names for Anna it is still going to be hit and miss as she may have re-baptised, as her sister Sarah did, when reaching France. I was hoping to find a death that mentions her parents Thomas and Sarah, again as her sisters did who...

Re: Merchant seamen/RNVR records WW2
Thanks again Thunder The record is on my list to check out first of all followed by the ADM record before moving to anything else, despite it saying the pouch is empty. I want to gather as much info as possible before we go. It is a long journey for us to Kew and I want to accomplish as much as poss...

Re: Merchant seamen/RNVR records WW2
Thank you Thunder
I am gradually working my way through all the relevant TNA records, compiling a list so that my husband and I can spend a day researching at Kew checking them out, but it is taking a while.

Re: Merchant seamen/RNVR records WW2
Thanks Mo I had forgotten about WDYTYA and having just had a quick look there are some I definitely haven't tried. I am going to spend the next few days gathering together all the websites I can find, however obtuse, and do a really deep search through them systematically to see if I can add to my r...

Re: Merchant seamen/RNVR records WW2
Forgot to mention I have also found at TNA Ref ADM 267/126
Various reports relating to 1940 in WW2
When I return from my next babysitting stint I will endeavour to make the trek down there to view this record. It may provide answers.

Re: 1921 census
Looking at the GB1900 map for Bulkington most street names are places eg Coventry and Leicester but Lincoln isn't on there and neither is Church. Not all roads have been identified.
