There is a Young birth registration, a male, mother B.....w, in March 1960, Stroud, 7b 909 Indexed as well under another surname, W..g, with the mother being B.....w! So was birth registered by a separated (but still married) Mrs Young in 1960 and adopted by Mr W..g after remarriage or was paternal...

In my case it was the "husband" for whom I have seen certificates of remarriage, but the first wife also remarried and I found GRO records in her maiden name and her "married" name for her re marriage. interesting to note for future reference - is this standard I wonder? I assum...

Thinking aloud here ... What are the rules when a woman remarries after divorce. Does she marry with her ex-married name or her maiden Name or can she choose. If she uses her maiden name then it might make sense for her previous married name to be shown as well.
