We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Re: Vincent Linho missing
apropos of nothing for your genealogy - a diversion maybe! It's an odd surname and had me wondering if it had anything to do with the private Lindo wing, where there have been royal births and several celebrity births which was financed by businessman and hospital board member Frank Charles Lindo, w...

Re: Brick Wall - Raymond Carey Webb b.1893
Interesting that it’s Raymond that registered the births. Try newspaper websites.
He would probably have been called up to WW1- have you looked at military records

Re: Brick Wall - Raymond Carey Webb b.1893
Ultimately DNA may be your answer, but an odd idea.... There is clearly a circumstantial connection to the Raymond Webb b.1893 in Brinkworth, Wiltshire and married Daisy May Carey. I doubt if there are too many “Carey”s. On the 1939 register this Raymond Webb is a haulier DOB given as 6/9/1891. Raym...

Re: Were Margaret Breeks and Emily Birdwood related?
Question: [/b]as this query is on the WDYTYR Facebook page, does this mean yesterday's query posted on this Forum is a "prank" thread? Such as the "prank" (duplicated) threads we'd see on the WDYTYR Forum from time to time? :x I guess there has to be some reason why two p...

Re: Were Margaret Breeks and Emily Birdwood related?
Rosemary Collins, a WDYTYA site Admin asked this the other day. I put a lot of links on the page. Might be worth checking them before anyone spends a lot of time searching. https://www.facebook.com/groups/wdytyareadergroup/?ref=bookmarks What are we expecting to see there - I followed your link but...

Re: Were Margaret Breeks and Emily Birdwood related?
VALLMO - Did you mean Elizabeth Breeks age 51..... Haven't found birth/baptism records for Elizabeth Breeks yet. But this could be her 29 March 1883 marriage in Marylebone: Margaret Breeks, age 51, spinster George Frederick Weston, 63, widower, Clerk in Holy Orders Witnesses: D. Thomson, Agnes Jane ...

Re: Were Margaret Breeks and Emily Birdwood related?
