Re-opening of TNA
I have just received the monthly newsletter from TNA and they say they are looking with other archives on how to re-open. In my view we are still months away from any re-opening and having any sort of 'normality'.

While you clearly registered her death where you did - have you ever checked to see where the death appears on the GRO index? I once thought that the death could be registered in another district and would therefore appear in the index for that other district but here's what Antony M had to say on ...

I don't think that there a likelihood that the GRO will get any quicker when some shops open tomorrow. Government works slowly and it depends where the certificate images are held and how many staff they are allowing in. I have a few entries I would like to order but I wouldn't expect them to be pro...
