In my family, Charles John Heale and Selina Lena Hatherley married 19 November 1889. On the 18 April 1906 they had a daughter called Lena.
My question is, why on the birth certificate of the daughter Lena it shows her surname as Hatherley. Why is it not Heale?
We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Hi Colin, this topic was addressed last year. Have you sorted out your Ancestry tree yet? You may still have the wrong people on it. If so, it will keep causing confusion until the wrong ancestors (e.g. Heale) are removed.. https://www.whowhenwheregenealogy.org.u ... lina#p1567
