George Firman Burton cause of death

I am hoping someone might be able to read the attached part image of George's death certificate. I can read Meningitis and convulsions. It's the bit in between. I think it says Meningitis of ???/Convulsions certified.

He died 27 December 1849 and was buried 3 January 1850. His sister Eliza was born October quarter 1849 and was baptised twice. Once on 24 December 1849 and the second time 31 March 1850. I suspect because of her infancy the family may have thought she would catch what George had. The family had already lost 3 children within 20 days of each other in 1848 to Scarletina.

Meningitis, fortnight? Convulsions.
One of the side effects of meningitis is seizures or convulsions.
I assume the fortnight indicates how long he suffered from the condition.
