Anyone any feeling for what the current turnaround time is from the GRO for both PDF and paper certificates? (I think some certs that I have a desire for, are outside the PDF date range).
Obviously all bets may be off if Working From Home doesn't allow the GRO access to anything useful....

I have been satisfied with the last four records I requested - mostly PDFs which were sent on the specified date.
The most recent one has been slower: a marriage cert (1873) ordered on 27 Nov; estimated despatch 3 Dec; actual despatch 8th Dec.

Thanks for that - my biggest fear was that it had turned into an MOD service records type of thing. Seems not....
