The shortened series ends with the actor Ralf Little looking into his past. If his name isn't familiar you may know him as Anthony in the Royle Family or DI Neville Parker in Death in Paradise.
Ralf heads to the Orkney Islands off the north coast of Scotland to investigate his grandfather Arthur's experience during the Second World War. He is astonished to discover that Arthur was caught up in one of the most important battles of the war.
Ralf is also keen to investigates vague memoires of talk of a Welsh footballer in the family and a “whiff of poshness”. On returning to his home town of Manchester, the actor is delighted to learn that his four-times great grandfather played a key role in the industrial development of the city'
