I'm busyadding details of lots of baptisms and can't help wishing that it had been a historical requirement for the names of the godparents to be included in the same way marriage witnesses are. The marriage witnesses are extremely useful, I think the names of godparents might be too.

Any other wishes ?

Rather than god-parents ( bit hit and miss as to whether they are related to child or not), why not grandparents, as I believe they already do in Scotland. That would really speed up our research :lol:
