I have a parish record of a burial in 1924 which states:
Certified under Burial Law Amendment Act by T Taylor, Undertaker.
I've never come across this before. Can someone explain exactly what this means and why it would be used?
Thanks in advance.
We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Re: Burials Law Amendment Act
The burial took place without the rites of the Church of England. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/Vi ... 1/contents
