Today Ancestry added Bedfordshire, England, Workhouse and Poor Law Records, 1835-1914 to their collection.
Areas covered are: Ampthill, Bedford, Biggleswade, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, St Neots, and Woburn.

If searches are unsuccessful, it may be because not much has been indexed at the moment.
They say 61 records. 61 names indexed? Seem to be from Ampthill "In-Letters"
But lots of images to browse through. Which is good!

Don't see St Neots and Woburn Hopefully to be to be added later?

I think some one ought to enlighten them on English geography. Last I heard St Neots was in Huntingdonshire/Cambridgeshire.

St Neots Union did include a few Bedfordshire parishes. The workhouse was at Eaton Socon in Beds.
The records no doubt are at Huntingdon (or if not, then at Ely?) So on the face of it, unlikely to be in the new database.
Ancestry do have some records from Cambridgeshire Archives - Electoral Registers, Burgess Rolls and Poll Books, 1722-1966.
