Sorry , Yes of course ...

He was born in 1879, his mother Emma ran it as an umbrella maker then he took it over until he died 1953.

You haven't given any indication as to how much information you have on him already so you may have this.

The 1939 register shows him living at 20 Westlegate with Maurice R Kemp (dob 17.2.1906) who's lived as a Master Coal Merchant and single.

Arthur (dob 28.11.1878) is listed as a Master Greengrocer and widowed.

There is an article in the Yarmouth Independent from 10 October 1925 entitled Family Squabble which is a report of an argument between one of Arthur's children, Stanley and his stepmother, Arthur's second wife which ended in court.

I’ve found the article on find my past, but unfortunately when it opens up its just a black page so can’t read the full article !!
Please could someone check to see if they can open it and see the article ? It’s Yarmouth Independent, Stanley Kemp, Family Squabble, 10th October 1925
Thanking you in advance 🤞😊

It is a long piece but I am happy to email you a copy if you would like.

Try FMP again though. It may have just been having a "moment" as these sites sometimes do.

PM me your email if you need a copy

I didn't have a look any further but it may be worth doing a search to see if there are any other articles about him or the family.

If the family were well known as local tradesmen there may be an obituary for him.
