Didn't Birth Surname

In my family, Charles John Heale and Selina Lena Hatherley married 19 November 1889. On the 18 April 1906 they had a daughter called Lena.
My question is, why on the birth certificate of the daughter Lena it shows her surname as Hatherley. Why is it not Heale?

Hi Colin, this topic was addressed last year. Have you sorted out your Ancestry tree yet? You may still have the wrong people on it. If so, it will keep causing confusion until the wrong ancestors (e.g. Heale) are removed..

Sorry, I forgot I had asked the same question!
No, I have not got around to sort out my Ancestry tree yet. Hoping to get back into the family history within a day or so.
