Arthur Stopford Jarvis MC - WW1

Arthur was born on 31st August 1888 in Masbrough, Yorkshire and died on 4th June 1967 in Worthing, Sussex.
He served in WW1 in the 1/2nd Battalion London Regiment. According to the London Gazette dated 22nd January 1916 he was a former cadet of the University of London Contingent, Senior Division and was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant on 23rd Janaury 1916.
He was awarded the MC for his actions at Bullecourt, France as reported in the London Gazette dated 2nd December 1918. He was approved for the Silver War Badge on 3rd May 1920.
Any informaton regarding his service number and war service especially in relation to when he was injured would be gratefully appreciated.
