An interesting article and shows the attitude of the Suffragettes (they didn't care about anybody else), I disagree that the 'ends justifies the means'. In my personal view the Suffragettes should have been sent to a far-distant island like Devil's Island and left there. In one case they burnt down the Tea Room at Kew Gardens depriving twelve women of employment.
