We welcome any query on Who When Where. If you have previously posted it on another forum (including the old WDYTYA forum), please state this in your opening post - this will save people redoing the research which has been done before: they can look at it and possibly go further with it.

Repeating searches

Post by meekhcs »

At a loose end this morning I decided to trawl the FMP newspaper records for the umpteenth time for our nearest and dearest and up popped a new obituary for my husbands Great Grandfather, adding a few more snippets to our already substantial biography of the Man. This included the fact that he had been posted to the West Indian Station of the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company and that whilst there he contracted Chargres Fever.

Needless to say I have spent the rest of the morning on google!

It is always worth a repeating a research.

I think it is always a good idea to go back and have another look to see if new information has come to light.
